3 Ways to Release Restlessness and Respond to your Soul’s call

This inner turmoil often stems from a misalignment between our actions and our soul’s calling—a profound yearning for purpose and meaning. Fortunately, there are paths we can tread to quiet the storm within and rediscover harmony. 

It all begins by responding to your soul’s call; and being in relationship with it. 

So the intention of my article today is to empower you to:

  • RSVP to your soul’s call and invitation
  • Embrace flow and momentum in your life to flourish forward with fulfilment 

NOW… for those of you nurturing career/ business and family… 

Know that following your soul calling can profoundly impact your family’s well-being.

Why?

When parents/ carers pursue their passions and fulfill their true calling, they emanate authenticity and fulfillment, setting a powerful example for their children. This authenticity fosters a nurturing environment where children feel encouraged to explore their own interests and pursue their dreams. 

Moreover, when parents are aligned with their soul calling, they are more likely to approach parenting with patience, empathy, and resilience, qualities that are essential for navigating the challenges of raising a family. By prioritizing their own fulfillment, parents not only enhance their own lives but also create a harmonious atmosphere where each family member can thrive emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. 

In essence, honoring one’s soul calling isn’t just an act of self-care; it’s a profound commitment to the flourishing of the entire family unit… creating a Flourishing Family

So let’s dive into three evidence based pathways, to release the inner restlessness and respond to your soul’s call. 

#1 Cultivate Pure Presence

At the core of many spiritual traditions lies the practice of mindfulness and presence; a state of non-judgmental awareness of the present moment. By grounding ourselves in the here and now, we can silence the ceaseless chatter of the mind and attune ourselves to the whispers of our soul.

Research conducted by Harvard Medical School has shown that mindfulness meditation can lead to structural changes in the brain, particularly in regions associated with self-awareness, compassion, and introspection. 

It also goes beyond any dedicated meditation time; with countless spiritual luminaries, like Thich Nhat Hanh who advocated for the transformative power of mindfulness in nurturing inner peace; emphasizing the importance of fully inhabiting each moment, whether it be washing dishes or walking in nature, as a gateway to profound self-discovery and spiritual awakening.

Cultivating pure presence as a way of being, opens a clear channel of communication for you to commune with your soul whispers… which leads us to the next step along the pathway of responding to your soul call.

#2 Be in Receivership of the Whispers of Your Soul

Our soul’s calling often communicates through subtle whispers—intuitive nudges, synchronicities, and moments of profound resonance. Yet, in our frenetic lives, these whispers can easily be drowned out by the noise of external expectations and societal pressures. 

Pure presence allows us to deeply listen; and successfully discern the authentic voice of our soul..Renowned spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle in his seminal work, “The Power of Now.” He shares that true fulfillment arises from aligning our actions with the deep wisdom of the present moment, rather than being driven by the endless demands of the egoic mind. 

Listening to your soul’s whispers and guidance is certainly deeply insightful, informative and intriguing… AND;  like it or not – it is the highest form of truth. 

SO… actioning the whispers, is where the unconditional courage comes in and true transformation unfolds, immersing you in a profound sense of purpose and inner peace.

It also means decision making becomes easier; inner knowing shines more brightly and wellbeing flourishes; so life is navigated with more grace and authenticity.

#3 Embrace Rituals of Self-Reverence

Rituals have long served as sacred bridges connecting the mundane with the divine, anchoring us in the timeless rhythms of the universe. Whether it be through prayer, ceremony, or creative expression, engaging in meaningful rituals can foster a deep sense of connection to our soul’s calling and the greater tapestry of existence.

From ancient rites of passage to modern-day spiritual practices, rituals serve as incredible catalysts for personal growth and self-transcendence.

Embracing daily rituals to serve in creating sacred space for self-reverence; holds extraordinary transformative power. An adventure beyond the limitations of the ego, to commune with the greater and higher guidance to which we all are connected. 

Ultimately you come to create an inner sanctuary that invites you to engage and interact with the world around you, with authentic and grounded responsiveness.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY… you say YES to living the life you were called to live, in true abundance of love, peace and harmony.
